The first edition of The Longest Day took place in 2024—a unique race from sunrise to sunset. In teams of two, runners tackled as many 10-kilometer laps as possible during this epic challenge.

The adventure begins on Friday, as participants arrive on the stunning island of Terschelling to set up camp. At sunrise on Saturday, the race kicks off, and for 18 hours, teams push their limits, running as far as they can. As the sun dips below the horizon, the race ends, and everyone gathers around the bonfire to celebrate this unforgettable day of running, camaraderie, and resilience.
